Committed to Living Full of Energy

What would it be like if every day you would get up and feel propelled to do something, anything. Or even better, you just felt like you were bursting with so much energy that you wanted to pour it out through your chosen lifestyle to touch each and every person around you.

The first step to living a life in this fashion is to make a commitment.

By making that decision you immediately start to change your life. To make this even more real for you here is a set of steps to start living a life full of energy.

Make a Commitment

Decide that living full of energy is something you really want.

I want you to take a moment to close your eyes and then bring to mind what it feels like to be filled with an almost endless flow of energy. Notice how you move, the way you talk and the light (even powerful) feeling in your heart. Know that this way of being is something totally within your reach and it accessible if you want to choose.

Pick a Purpose

We all have access to a large reservoir of energy. Each morning we wake up, juice up on a breakfast and then head out to put out our daily energy. The question is, in a day where does all that energy go?

If you were to imagine energy like a lake then you will see that it looks like it is not expending any energy. In fact it looks quite lazy not doing anything at all. Compare this to the same volume of water coming down like a waterfall or even a flood. This time it is pretty obvious that a whole lot of energy is being expressed.

So what’s the difference?

The lake sends out all of its energy in every direction. It hit all shores with roughly the same amount of force and meets with equal amount of resistance. Because its energy is all spread out it loses power and has little noticeable effect or snowballing flow on.

A flood and waterfall on the hand is very specifically going in one direction and one direction only. Because of this you notice a huge amount of energy. Essentially it is not be squandered on little things, rather it is concentrated on a single purpose.

Without a direction it is hard to follow through on a commitment to energy. Because the energy has no where to really go.

Write down a list of things you really want to do and experience. Pick the top one or two and focus all of your free time on heading towards them. This focus will bring power to your energy and you will notice exactly how different it feels.

Take Action

Now that you have committed to living full of energy and have chosen a direction to use that energy there is one thing left to do. That is to start doing it.

Really take this opportunity to try out what it feels like to be full of energy. Focus your efforts and live a life of energetic self expression.

Hi Jarrod.

This is a worthwhile commitment. The days when I wake up with a plan to be full of energy, I am, and the days I don’t, I later wonder why I didn’t.

When you arise with energy, you get some good things done early on, and then the rest of day smells like accomplishment instead of procrastination.

@Armen: A plan and getting some serious things done first.

Great tips Armen. The accomplishment smell can be wafting around all day :)
